December, 2008 - As 2008 draws to a close, we have plenty to celebrate at Daesdaemar. It has been another great year. In the National Pointscore, conducted by Dogz Online, Daesdaemar finished on top in all 3 categories. Orlando is again the Number 1 Japanese Spitz in Australia. His grandson Hiro, Ch Daesdaemar Sunset Blvd is the Number 1 Rising Star Japanese Spitz - and Bundy ran a very close second! For the first time, there was also a Best Breeders Competition and Daesdaemar has taken out the Number 1 Japanese Spitz Breeders spot! 2008 has given us some exciting youngsters, some new Australian Champions and one Norwegian Champion. Plus... Add to this the wins others have had with their Daesdaemar JS...I thank everyone for their great effort in 2008! 6th and 7th December, 2008 - A lovely weekend away in Uralla and Tamworth. He is pictured above with his sash. We again had good success in the Breeders team competition - this time with Orlando, Takoda, Bundy and Giselle. They all performed wonderfully well under the "Big Top" for General Specials - again judged by Mrs Coxall. From the seven finalists, the judge selected our team and the Border Collie team to do one final lap for her decision...this time going with the Border Collies, but I was still extremely proud to be the Reserve Breeders team. The event was very well supported and the crowd encouragement was great - lots of cheering and applauding and many wonderful comments.
